A way to honor Chris Christy and her future ministry
On June 11, Chris Christy is going to be ordained a deacon.  We rejoice about Chris' ordination and her future ministry at St Luke's and in the larger community. She will be in the midst of us, with Kimball, as a reminder of our common vocation to servanthood.

On Sunday June 12 during the reception following our 10:00 AM service, gifts will be offered to Chris, liturgical items, communion kit, etc. If you want to participate, you are invited to put in the collection plate an envelope with your donation of cash or check, (please, don't forget to write "Chris' Ordination" on the envelope and the memo line). You may also send a check by mail.

Thanks for supporting Chris!

Getting to Chris Christy's Ordination on June 11
There will be a wagon train (or conga line!) leaving from St. Luke's Saturday morning, June 11 at 6:00 a.m. headed south for Trinity Cathedral in Phoenix for Chris Christy's ordination to the Sacred Order of Deacons. Because parking at the cathedral is challenging at best, we need to leave early. This will allow the group to get parked, have a cup of coffee, freshen up, and get seated before the service begins at 10:00 a.m.

Sign-up sheets are now in the Gathering Hall to sign-up to help drive or to sign-up for a ride!
Celebrating Chris Christy's Ordination on Sunday, June 12
