Potluck Dinner with Bishop Zak is tonight at 5 p.m.
Bishop Zak, of Amagoro, Kenya, is here through March 8! We will gather for a parish potluck dinner tonight at 5 p.m. in the Parish Hall. Please join in for some wonderful fellowship as we welcome Bishop Zak once again. All are welcome!

Lent 2016
Our Lenten program, featuring  Wednesdays Together  with Soup Suppers at 5 p.m. and Study at 6 p.m., continues this Wednesday, March 2. Please sign-up each week for the Soup Supper so a count can be provided to the group coordinating meal that week!

Weekly services include:
  • Wednesdays: Healing & Eucharist Service at 10 a.m.
  • Thursdays: Morning Prayer at 9 a.m.
  • Fridays: Stations of the Cross at 12 p.m.

Prayer in the Spirit of TaizĂ©

Want to experience a quiet and meditative form of prayer?

Join us for our monthly TaizĂ© service on Friday, March 11, at 6 p.m. All are welcome!
Quilt Show at St. Luke's is on March 12
Tickets also available for a chance to win this beautiful quilt!
Plan to attend "A Step Back in Time" Quilt Show on Saturday, March 12, 2016, 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., at St. Luke's. The Quilt Show admission is $4. Lunch will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for $4. Free childcare and a beginner sewing workshop for kids of all ages are also being offered.

Proceeds will support the youth mission trip this summer to Cortez, Colorado.

Yard Sale: You can help!
The youth group is having a yard sale on Saturday, April 30. Everything will be accepted except clothing.

The proceeds of the yard sale will benefit the youth mission trip to Cortez, Colorado, this June.

Dates and times for dropping off your yard sale items are as follows: Sunday, April 23 after 10 a.m. service; Monday, April 24, 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.; Tuesday April 25, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Inquirers' Class Starts on March 13
Do you want to become a member of the Episcopal Church?
An eight-week series of Inquirers' Classes, to be led by The Rev'd Jack M. Wolter, will begin on March 13, 2016, at 11:30 a.m. in the Conference Room of St. Luke's Church to prepare those persons who have not yet been sacramentally confirmed (coming from a Protestant tradition) or received (coming from a Roman Catholic or Eastern Orthodox tradition) by a bishop in the Episcopal Church, or those who simply want to refresh their understanding of the practice of the Christian Faith in our tradition.  YOU are invited to join us for these presentations and discussions! We hope you will be a participant!  
Buildfest 2016
The Prescott Area Habitat for Humanity (PAHH) Board of Directors invites all Faith Partner Congregations to get involved in the first ever BUILDFEST 2016. What is it?  A 3-day event (May 13-15) when volunteers frame a home for their 84th homeowner family at the YCCA Home & Garden Show at the Prescott Valley Event Center.  Read more  on how to get involved!

Outreach Committee News
The Outreach Committee is now ready to receive "Requests for Funds" for the year 2016. If you are involved with a charitable organization or know of one that would benefit from funding from the Outreach Committee, the application forms are available in the Church Office or by clicking here. These should be returned to the Outreach Committee by March 31.
Food Donation Program
Thanks to each of you for your continued support of the weekly food donation program which benefits the area food banks. The food count was 156 items for the weekend of February 27-28, 2016.

Missing Tablecloths
Two dark blue tablecloths, which are normally used in the Conference Room for Newcomers' Luncheons, are currently unable to be located. If you know of their whereabouts, please call the church office, 928-778-4499. We'd like to be able to use them again!
