Rite of Reconciliation
"All may, some should, none must" is the common Anglican expression regarding the Rite of Reconciliation. While this rite is available for all who desire it at any time, it is common to seek this sacrament during Lent as more time has been devoted in examining one's conscience. Through the examination of conscience, there may be a lingering sense of guilt or shame where one feels stuck. Please pray and consider if the Spirit is inviting you to experience forgiveness and healing by receiving this sacrament. The rite is found on pages 447- 452 in the Book of Common Prayer.
On Good Friday, priests at St. Luke's will be available to meet with parishioners for this rite as follows: Fthr. Pierre-Henry (
rector@slecp.org) in the chapel from 9:30 to 11:00am, Mthr. Denise (
denise@slecp.org) in the chapel from 1:30 to 4:00pm, and Fthr. Jack (
frjackwolter@juno.com) in the meditation room from 1:30 to 4:00pm. If you are interested in meeting with a priest, please email them directly to schedule a time.

JESUS SAID, "WALK WHILE YOU HAVE THE LIGHT, SO THAT THE DARKNESS MAY NOT OVERTAKE YOU". JOHN 12:35
On Good Friday, offerings from across the Episcopal Church support the four dioceses in the Province of Jerusalem and the Middle East. Funds are used to promote peace and mutual understanding through pastoral care, health care, and educational programs throughout the region. Make checks payable to St. Luke's with Good Friday in the memo line.

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR - Officer Wesley Denison
The Rookie of the Year Award is designed for the recognition of a probationary officer who has sustained, long term effort and noteworthy achievement during the officer's field training and subsequent service.
Wes began his career with the Police Department on July 10, 2017, and has quickly become an integral part of his squad. In 2018 he had 46 arrests, wrote 48 citations, wrote 130 warnings, and assisted with 10 accidents. He is an extremely hard worker who does a great job. Wes is always quick to step forward and be the lead officer on any case that arises. He is a fantastic team player who will do whatever is necessary to make sure the squad is able to wrap up tough cases.
Despite having graduated the academy just over a year ago, he has already taken a leadership role with new officers in training. Wes has quickly become a great asset to the Prescott Valley Police Department.
