"Refining Our Gifts"
We typically give something up or take something on for Lent. Attendees will look at it both ways...after some self-discovery work. You will not want to miss this presentation by one of Arkansas' most dynamic priests.

Fee is $20 and deadline for registration is February 20, 2017. No refunds after this date.

Winterstar is the Episcopal Diocese of Arkansas' annual Spring Retreat for youth in the 6th-12th grade. The weekend begins at Camp Mitchell March 10th at 8pm with registration and ends the 11th at 11:00am. The weekend includes games, music, worship services, hiking, sports, hammocking and even more Camp goodness. Registration is open now. If you/your child wishes to attend, there are scholarship funds available. Contact the office for more information. 

Everett Elam and Emily Phillips will perform at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7th. They are a duo from Central Arkansas known for their authentic fiddle music.   The program is titled "An Evening of Old-Time, a journey into the music of the past created by farmers, settlers, and the 19th century working class of America". The program will include a fascinating fact or two about each tune to give the listener a musical and historical context. A "meet-the-artists" reception will follow the program, which is presented by St. Luke's Festival of the Senses.  Admission is free and open to the public.  For more information, please contact the church office at 501-753-4281.


Shrove Tuesday is on February 28th. We will have our meal at 6 pm and follow it up with the Liturgy for the Burning of Palms in the Labyrinth. More information to come!


Ash Wednesday is on March 1st. After that, we will begin our Wednesdays in Lent study. Every Wednesday from March 8th to April 5th we will meeting in Parish Hall starting at 6 pm for a simple supper, 6:30 is the Study, ends at 7 pm with Compline. If you are interested in helping provide meals, please contact Suzzette Patterson.

Episcopal Youth Event (EYE) Application

The Episcopal Youth Event (EYE), a triennial event for 9th-12th graders, will take place July 10-14 in Edmond, Okla. It will involve more than 1,000 people from all over the world, and will include great worship services, workshops, and fun activities. You can apply online. The Diocese of Arkansas has 24 spaces available, and the selection will be made the first week of January.
