Due to high demand every year and the uncertainty that there will be a holiday event this year, we're taking orders for it.

Peggie will be available before and after the 10:30 service to accept orders and process credit or debit cards.

October 2nd - November 27th
Adult Formation: Feasting on the Word.  This interactive Bible study based on Sunday's scripture readings looks at the scripture from four vantage points: What is important to know, Where is God in these words, What does this mean for our lives, and What is God calling us to do?

Children's Formation: Dress rehearsal for performance. Performance will be during the announcements at the 10:30 service. 
ECW News

The ECW is now taking orders for our famous fruitcakes. Baking will begin the third week in Oct. Please let us know if you are interested in chopping, baking, and basting. It is a wonderful opportunity to visit while participating in this great fundraising project. The proceeds go toward scholarships for the children to go to camp and ladies wishing to attend retreats, such as Time for J.O.Y. 

ECW Fall Gathering

The Episcopal Church Women's annual Fall Gathering will be held Oct. 28-29, at Camp Mitchell. The event will kick off with a gourmet dinner and wine tasting Friday evening. For more information and to register, download the brochure.

Tibetan Oracle and Monks to Visit Central Arkansas
The Venerable Thubten Ngodup, State Oracle of Tibet and Spiritual Advisor to his Holiness the Dalai Lama, will offer spiritual teachings and blessings  Sunday, Oct. 23, 1:30-3:30 p.m. at St. Margaret's, Little Rock. The Oracle will be accompanied by Lama Tenzin Choegyal and seven Tibetan monks. The free event is sponsored by the   Interfaith Center of St. Margaret's and Arkansas House of Prayer.
Names for All Saints

All Saints' Sunday is November 6, the day on which we remember those who have died.  If you would like to add a name to the All Saints' prayer list, please fill out this form. Remember, all those interred in the columbarium or have been buried from St. Luke's during 2015-2016 and are interred elsewhere, are automatically placed on the list. 
The Brotherhood of St. Andrew

Stewardship Drive

St. Luke's Stewardship Drive kicks off this Sunday! Join us in pledging to "Walk the Path Together." Look to your mailboxes and join us on Sundays thru November to hear more about how you can support St. Luke's. All pledge cards should be in by Sunday, November 20th. 


We will host a fall vet's dinner in the parish hall at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 27th.  Watch for the sign up in the narthex for ways that you may help with this dinner.  For more information, contact Dan Dennis.
Attention All Women of the Church

Please join us on Sat. Nov. 5th for a fun outing and a chance to learn more about the Episcopal Church and Cathedral. We are beginning around 8:30 am with a light breakfast, then ECW will have a short meeting at 9 to elect new officers. At 10:15, everyone will convene at Trinity Cathedral in Little Rock to meet with Diocesan Historian Michael K. McNeely to tour the cathedral, learn more about our history and see the historical linens. If you cannot make it to breakfast or the meeting, please come to the tour! Look for more information in the coming weeks. 

Neil Rutman

The St. Luke's Festival of the Senses presents Neil Rutman, piano, on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 7:00pm at St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Dr. Rutman, a pianist of international renown, is noted for his brilliant artistry and masterful keyboard technique.  He will play a program of Beethoven, Schubert, Poulenc and Ravel.  Dr. Rutman is an artist in residence at the University of Central Arkansas, Conway.  A Meet-The-Artist reception will follow the program in the parish hall.  Admission is free. All Saints' Day Eucharist

All churches in the central convocation of the Episcopal Church in Arkansas are cordially invited to All Saints' Day Eucharist at Christ Church,  Tuesday, Nov. 1, at  7 p.m. The Christ Church choir will sing music from Requiem, Gabriel Fauré's Mass for the Dead, which focuses on eternal rest and consolation. The Rev. Amber Carswell, associate priest at Trinity Cathedral, will be the preacher. After the service, there will be a festive reception in the gallery.
