Adult Formation: Feasting on the Word.  This interactive Bible study based on Sunday's scripture readings looks at the scripture from four vantage points: What is important to know, Where is God in these words, What does this mean for our lives, and What is God calling us to do?

Children's Formation: The children will combine classes and make Advent Wreaths

Saint Nicholas project

As part of our study of saints and to celebrate St. Nicholas in particular, all children and youth from pre-k to high school will meet together between services Sunday in the youth classroom in the church building to decorate cookies to take to the saints we encounter every day such as firefighters, police and hospital workers who don't get extra time off on the holidays. Even if you haven't been attending Sunday School regularly, please stop by and help us with this project. You can drop in any time between 9:30 and 10:30 Sunday.
SUMMA Debate Society Accepting Applications

SUMMA Student Theological Debate Society is inviting high school students who will be entering grades 9-12 in the fall of 2017 to apply for SUMMA Debate Camp, to be held  July 18-26, 2017, at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn. The cost is $750, which includes room, meals, and materials. A limited number of scholarships are available for students with demonstrated financial need. For more information and to apply, visit


Advent begins this Sunday! Materials for kids and families are available in the Narthex. Our Advent Study begins Wednesday, November 30th and continues December 7th and 14th. The night begins at 5:45 with a simple supper, the study begins at 6:15 and the evening concludes at 6:45 with compline. Everyone is invited to join us.

Join us as we host our annual Advent Alternative Giving Fair on Sunday, December 4th. Give a gift that gives back! The event will take place between the services and after the 10:30 service. Enjoy light refreshments while you learn more about alternative giving ideas.  


There will only be one service at 10 am on Christmas Day. 
Community Thanksgiving Service

We would like to extend a big thank you to everyone that helped with the Community Thanksgiving service on Sunday Nov. 20th. Your assistance was invaluable and we could not have done it without you. 

Presiding Bishop to Visit Little Rock

Presiding Bishop Michael Curry will visit Little Rock the second weekend in December to take part in a conference hosted by the Clinton Presidential Library. While in town, he will preach at the 10:30 a.m. service at Christ Church on Sunday, Dec. 11.
