A/C in the Parish Hall

If you have an event in the Parish Hall, feel free to adjust the temperature to your liking. But, please(!), be sure to push "Run Schedule" on the thermostats before you leave to return the A/C to its regular schedule. Thank you for your help in keeping St. Luke's summer electric bills low!
Soles 4 Souls

We are collecting
from now until
August 13th
in the  GREEN  bucket in the narthex. Shoes of all kinds are accepted (men's-women's-children's shoes) just as long as they are still wearable. The shoes will be donated to families of the St. Francis House vets and from Family Promise. Please put each pair into a separate plastic bag or put the pair together with rubber bands before donating them. Contact Jeannie Fry at 501-941-0430 (cell/text) if you have any questions.

We hope that you will stop in to see the artwork by Barbara Rhodes, Suzzette Patterson and Jeannie Fry at the Argenta branch of the Laman Library (old post office) on Main Street in North Little Rock. The exhibition will run through 
August 12th.

  Family Promise

Festival of the Senses

Festival of the Senses at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 4106 JFK Blvd., NLR, AR will open their 2017-2018 concert series on  Tuesday, September 12th at 7:00 p.m.  with a concert featuring Saint Mark's Baptist Sanctuary Choir.   Comprised of approximately 75 voices, the choir is under the direction of Mr. Darius Nelson.  Their repertoire includes a variety of gospel music, including contemporary favorites, spirituals and traditional hymns.  Admission is free and open to the public. Please join us for this wonderful concert!

Parkhill Presbyterian Church Contra Dance

St. Luke's has been invited to a Contra Dance at Parkhill Presbyterian Church on August 4th from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. If interested please contact Linda Narisi at for details.

Theatre Camp at the Cathedral

This year, Trinity Episcopal Cathedral's Community Theatre Outreach for children will present Disney's "The Jungle Book KIDS."  The free, week-long camp, Monday, July 31 - Friday, August 4, welcomes all children who have completed the 3rd grade through the 7th grade, but will be limited to the first 25 who apply.  Campers will be fed lunch each day. Activities will include rehearsing, singing, playing theatre games, making costumes, learning about staging and theatre blocking from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.  On Friday, the children will stay from 10:00 a.m. through the performance at 5:30 p.m. and will be fed both lunch and supper.  Camp begins at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 31, culminating with the public performance at 5:30 p.m. on August 4.

Farm Camp at Camp Mitchell
Tilling the earth to grow food is a central act throughout the Bible. This camp, held July 30-Aug. 4, will examine how God challenges us to better know creation through getting our hands dirty in the soil. Learn more at
