St. Mark Worship
Join us for worship this Sunday, June 13, for
the Third Sunday after Pentecost

Worship with us in person or virtually!
Starting this weekend, masks will no longer be required for those who are fully vaccinated. if you are not vaccinated, we encourage you to continue to wear a mask/face covering when you attend worship or when social distancing cannot be maintained. If you choose to continue to wear a mask for whatever reason, we honor that choice as well.
You're also invited to join us for fellowship following the service!

We will be live streaming the 9:30am service on Facebook and it will be posted to YouTube later in the day.

Covid Update
An update went out on Thursday about our next stage of our Covid Plan. Here are a few bullet points from the letter and follow the link to read the whole letter.

Our COVID-19 plan has been updated and will be effective starting Sunday, June 13, 2021. Here are the latest details:
  • Masks will no longer be required for those fully vaccinated* per the guidance from MDH and the CDC.
  • If you are not vaccinated, we encourage you to continue to wear a mask/face covering when you attend worship or social distancing cannot be maintained.
  • If you are fully vaccinated and would prefer to wear a mask, you certainly can continue to do so.

*Fully Vaccinated definition from the CDC/MDH
  • 2 weeks after the second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines
  • 2 weeks after a single dose vaccines, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.

Here at St. Mark we never want to create a space where there is division, judgement, and blame. Wherever you may fall on the spectrum of mask wearing, we see you and honor your decisions. We ask that everyone remain respectful in the coming weeks as we continue to navigate through these changes.

  • Yes we will continue to sing in worship.
  • Yes we will continue to take communion in our seats.
  • Yes, we will still strongly encourage social distancing in worship.

Baptismal Blankets Needed!
We only have 2 blankets left and we have several baptisms coming up! If you like to knit, please consider making a plain white blanket to give to the next family that has their child baptized here at St. Mark. Blankets can be dropped off at church. Thank you!

God's Good Creation
August 9-13
Dinner starts at 5pm
Ages 3-12
Volunteers 12+

Registration is open and ALL are welcome! We are partnering with Living Waters Lutheran Church and they will be hosting it this year! We can't wait to explore God's Good Creation with you!

Volunteers are needed for many different areas, be on the look out for more info on that.

If you have any questions, please let us know. Donation tags will be ready for pick up in the beginning of July.
Our lives are made up of small, daily decisions that eventually shape our character. Jesus highlights this principle in Luke 16:10, “Whoever is faithful in little things will be faithful in large ones.”
We are inviting each of you to participate in monthly experiment that will engage and encourage you to look at stewardship in a whole new way.

Your next stewardship experiment is ready to be picked up! For June, you are being asked to Treat someone else! “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat…” We encourage you to ask God to help you notice someone who is physically or emotionally hungry, or thirsty and treat them. Take some time to reflect on this experience and don’t forget to record it!
If you haven't picked up the last few months of experiments, they are available at church
Our next Blood Drive is July 12!

Worship Volunteers Are Needed!
Are you interested in helping with worship? If so, contact Jenny in the office. She's created a schedule for the summer, but would love to add you to it!

Another area that we could use some help with is a Worship Host. What's that you ask? It is someone, besides Pastor Mollie or Jenny, that makes sure all of our greeters, ushers, lectors, and reader of the prayers are in worship that morning. It's an area that is greatly appreciated and needed for each Sunday morning. If you are interested, send Jenny in the office an email. Thank you!
