Spark Story Bible pages 2-7

On Sunday September 13th, St. Mark held a congregational meeting to provide a financial update. It was unanimously voted to transfer our extra funds to a designated account to use for future expenses.
Thank you to all that attended and continue to support St. Mark!
Ministry Opportunities
Worship Volunteers Are Needed!
We need your help! Reading of the prayers and Bible stories are needed for the rest of September and October! We encourage everyone to sign up to help lead worship. Sign up here for opportunities throughout the fall!
We will send you a digital copy of the readings or prayers and ask you to record them using your phone or laptop and send them to Jenny to add to worship.
Don't miss the newest letter from the COVID Response Team!
Please let the office know if you have any questions and thank you
for your continued support.
Fill the Boot for Centennial Food Shelf!

On Thursday September 24, from 3-7pm, the Centennial Fire Department and the Circle Pines/Lexington Lions are doing a food drive in the St. Mark parking lot.

Our hope is to fill the fireman boot with monetary donations, however food donations will be accepted as well. There is a lot of need right now and our hope is to work together to fill the shelves again!
The Markings - Fall 2020
The deadline for the our next Markings is next Wednesday, September 23. Please email Jenny (office@stmarkcp.org) if you'd like to put something in.
Are you a financial wizard?
St. Mark is looking for more people to join the finance team! They meet once a month and are a vital part to keeping our congregation going! No experience is necessary, they are just looking for people who'd like to get more involved with the congregation. Email Jenny (office@stmarkcp.org) if you are interested or have more questions.
Blood Drive Update
Thank you to all the volunteers that helped with the September Blood Drive! We were able to provide 36 units of blood! Thank you for continuing to support our community and a special thank you to Anita Pouchnik!
Fall Faith Formation Opportunities
It's time to register for Sunday School and Confirmation! Things might look a little different this year, but we are looking forward to growing in our faith together! More information about each program can be found on the sign up links below.

Adult Education

This fall, we'll be doing TED Talk Tuesdays!
Each week, you're invited to watch a specific TED talk and then at 6:30pm on Tuesday evenings, we will join together over Zoom to have a discussion about the topic.

Ted Talks are a series of online videos from TED.com. TED started as a series of conferences focusing on Technology, Entertainment, and Design. Their mission statement states: "We believe passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives, and ultimately, the world. So we’re building here a clearinghouse that offers free knowledge and inspiration from the world’s most inspired thinkers, and also a community of curious souls to engage with ideas and each other."

Most of these videos aren’t religious or even theological, but we care called to apply faith to life, so while these talks might not be overtly Christian, they still have Biblical truths embedded in them for us to discover and talk about.

If you need a booklet, there are some in the office for you to pick up. It will also be linked on our website next week.
Mark your calendar for our first meeting on October 6th at 6:30pm
