January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month and the Peace and Justice Commission would like YOU to become more aware. Therefore, we are having a guest speaker on January 27 to inform us about a new facility right here in Orange County. It is a home that will be used to house and shelter rescued human trafficking victims who are from our area. Stephanie Taylor, from the Salvation Army’s Anti-Human Trafficking Services Program, will describe the house, it’s purpose, and what is needed for it. There will also be general information on the human trafficking issue, as well as information on opportunities to volunteer to address it. Please join us on January 27, in Room 5 at 11:00 to welcome Stephanie and become informed.
We still have plenty of spots open to provide Chancel Flowers. The flower chart is available after the service on Sundays for you to choose a weekend in 2019 if you are interested in making a donation for our beautiful flower arrangements. Please pick a date and take a form and envelope. Questions? Contact the church office.
