Dear St. Mark Families,

I'm happy to share with you that our St. Mark School Pre-K and Kindergarten Open House Tours were a overwhelming success! 18 families reserved tours to visit our school and all were impressed with our welcoming community and what our school has to offer. I'd like to take this opportunity to express my deep gratitude to everyone who made the day possible, including our St. Mark School AMEN Team, our Pre-K and Kindergarten teachers, Mrs. Larracuente and Ms. Di Costanzo, and 2nd grade teacher, Ms. Zenowich, for taking the time to share what makes our school community special with perspective new families.

I'd also like to thank our current families who hosted an Open House lawn sign to market our Open House Tours. You can return the sign at school or it can be picked up from your house. Please call Mrs. Mannino at 203-375-4291 to make arrangements. Many Thanks!

As we continue on in this school year with the theme of gratitude, let us be grateful that God has protected our students, and ask for His continued blessings on our families.

I wish you all continued good health and God's blessings.

Yours in Christ,
Melissa Warner

COVID 19 Update

As we are all aware, COVID cases are back on the rise. In an effort to remain in school full time, it is imperative that students follow our guidelines by practicing social distancing, wearing face masks and following directions.

Every morning, our school community is reminded of our COVID safety protocols during morning announcements. Unfortunately, we are noticing an concerning rise in incidents where students are removing their mask when speaking. We appreciate the continued support of families by reminding your children of the importance of wearing a face mask to cover their nose and mouth at school.

We have received no further reports of COVID 19 positive exposures this week and we feel confident that contact tracing for our current case is complete. We will continue to inform you of any updates or changes, as well as any resulting actions that would impact in-person instruction.

Again, we continue to be profoundly grateful to our St. Mark families for your proactive and generous cooperation with our safety protocols. Let's continue to follow CDC, state and local health department COVID guidelines, so that we can continue our full time in-person instruction. Please keep those suffering from COVID 19 and our St. Mark community in your prayers.
Veterans Day 2020

Veterans Day is a special day in our country when we thank those that served in our United States Armed Forces. On Wednesday, November 11th, 2020, students showed their appreciation of our veterans by participating in a red, white and blue dress down day. The dress down raised $267 and the proceeds will provide a pizza dinner for veterans living at Homes for the Brave in Bridgeport.
The Power of Prayer
