Centering Prayer at St. Mark's
March 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd

This Lent and possibly beyond, do you feel the Spirit nudging you to a deeper relationship with God? The daily practice of Centering Prayer may assist you. The method of Centering Prayer is based on the teachings of Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount. "When you pray, go to your inner room, close the door and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you." (MT 6:6) It is a prayer of silence and consent to God's presence and action within us. The group will meet via zoom on Tuesdays in Lent at 7PM.  Here is the zoom link if you care to join us.....

Meeting ID: 896 4717 0599

Celebrating Black History Month at St. Mark’s

The Parish’s marquee says in quoting Scripture, “A house of prayer for all people.” Therefore, we welcome all people and honor them for who they are as children of God. For far too long in our nation’s history, Black Americans have not been honored in ways which are consistent with Christian values as set-forth and lived by Jesus. This month, we honor our Black sisters and brothers and long for a more just, fair and equitable society for them.....(continue reading in link below)
