During the social hour we will have an "Advent Workshop" to make wreaths for the Advent Season.

At 9:30 a.m. join Rich Hiskes as he presents part II of this discussion of his book "Suffer the Children: A traditional foundation for the Human Rights of the child."

Stewardship Commitment Sunday and Financials for 2022

As we approach Stewardship Commitment Sunday, November 21, please, see the attachment for a link to the budget and financial needs of the Parish for 2022.
The Finance Ministry, Treasurer and Finance Manager, have worked hard to draft a balanced budget for 2022 based on projected pledged income of $500,000 along with other income. As of November 18, 96 pledges have been received for a total of $382,928. We have a critical need for many more of us to be invested in the financial future of St. Mark's in 2022.
Please, prayerfully consider a pledge if you have not already pledged. If you have pledged and can increase your pledge, please consider doing so.
A projected 74% of the operating budget is based on pledged income, demonstrating the need for financial commitments for 2022.
Please, join us in prayerfully giving to St. Mark's for 2022.
~  St. Mark's Finance Ministry

Copies of the Budget and Financial Needs for 2022 will be available Sunday on the welcome desk for you to take.
Stewardship at St. Mark's
A Proud History; A Bright Future

Please take a moment now to consider your own financial stewardship as part of St. Mark’s in 2022. If you’ve not pledged before, what better year to begin than this anniversary year -- even if you start small! And if you’re renewing your pledge, we hope you’ll consider an increased pledge, so we can move with confidence into the next year of that “bright future” God has for all of us at St. Mark’s

"Every generous act of giving, with every perfect git, is from above..."
James 1:17 NRSV
The pledge goal for 2022 is $500,000. To date we have received 96 pledges from parishioners for a total of $382,928 in 2022 pledges. Thank you to those who have pledged for 2022.

A Prayer for the End of the Pandemic
O God, hear the prayers of your people all over the world who are crying out in need for an end to the virus pandemic. Comfort those in isolation, those who have lost livelihoods, those who are sick and those who may die this day unloved or unattended. Comfort those in mourning, those for whom the virus has brought deep and utter sadness, families, villages, cities and countries. Give strength to those in the rescue and medical professions to keep them safe from harm as they work to bring safety and health to those in need. Give us all a greater sense of connectedness as we strive to be safe from harm and as we await the end of the suffering of millions of people throughout the world. Amen.
Calling All Volunteers!!!!
We are so excited to be starting preparation for our Christmas season. As many of you know, that includes our Children & Youth Christmas pageant. It takes many hands to put this together, and we are looking for volunteers to help us in making this a fun and wonderfully successful event. If you'd like to volunteer your time and talents, we would love to have some help with organizing costumes, set building, and anything else you may have to offer! If interested, please contact me, Evan Knill, or come say hello after the 10:30 service on Sundays! Evan Knill, Director of Children's Formation,
