The Fourth Sunday After Pentecost
A lmighty God, you have built your Church upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone: Grant us so to be joined together in unity of spirit by their teaching, that we may be made a holy temple acceptable to you; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.   Amen.

Message from Christian
Dear Parishioners,

This Sunday, we will continue our broadcast of the 10:30 Service via
Facebook, our website and YouTube Channel. This Sunday, Deacon Jan
Gockerman is the preacher.

On July 5, we will live stream the 10:30 Service from the Sanctuary of
St. Mark's. We are very excited to be able to offer worship in the
beloved St. Mark's and hope that you will be as well.

Another Sunday option is to attend the live stream YouTube Service of
the Washington National Cathedral with spiritual Communion offered at
11:15 a.m. The Rev. Dr. Otis Moss, III, will be the preacher this Sunday.

On July 12, we hope to have the Service at 10:30 with parishioners
present. All necessary protocols will be in place for that day. Everyone will be asked to register in advance and warmly greeted and registered at the Parish House main entrance prior to the 10:30 Service.

Should conditions warrant it, we may need to consider not re-opening
on July 12 but at a later date. Please, stay tuned for further updates.

Parish leadership has been in discussion about broadcasting the
Service via WiFi to the Parish's parking lot for those not wishing to
enter the building. That option presents us with technology challenges and a question about the parking accommodating for two different groups for the 10:30 Service, one inside and one outside. For now, we will continue to offer Morning Prayer and will consider offering Holy Communion in the future.

Please, join me in thanking Deacon Jan, Laura Kozminski, Bea Rocco,
Cathy Stevens and Doug Karsen in thanking them for offering prayers at
different times of the day, Mondays through Thursdays. I very much
appreciate their ministry and offering of their spiritual gifts to the
community.

We will continue to ensure that our movement forward will be carefully
and thoughtfully planned. We are committed to safety for us all.

Peace to you. Please, stay safe and healthy!
