The Sunday after the Ascension
A lmighty God, whose blessed Son our Savior Jesus Christ ascended far above all heavens that he might fill all things: Mercifully give us faith to perceive that, according to his promise, he abides with his Church on earth, even to the end of the ages; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, in glory everlasting.  Amen.

Be a Voice to Your State Representative on COVID-19 Issues

State Representative Rachel Hood (District 76) indicates that State Representatives hear only one viewpoint from constituents on issues such as the stay-at-home mandate and the phased re-opening of the economy. We urge you to contact your Representative to present your opinion on these important issues. If you’re not sure who your Representative is, go to  and typ in your address. Representative Hood made her observation at a May 11 meeting with members of seven churches and other non-profits. Jan Gockerman and Catherine Frerichs represented St. Mark’s through Micah (formerly, the Micah Project).
St. Mark's 10th Annual Diaper Drive
This county wide diaper collection effort that we are helping will contribute to more than 20 agencies and pantries. St. Mark’s diapers will be delivered to SECOM .
Prior to the pandemic, one in three U.S. families struggled to afford enough diapers to keep their baby dry and healthy. One change that COVID-19 has brought is that now families receive more diapers. In the past, Kent County pantries gave out 15 diapers per family per month! Now they must give out a full sleeve of diapers to lower the risk of spreading COVID-19. This will get a family through a few weeks of diaper support instead of a few days. Let’s help SECOM keep our babies covered! Drop off your diapers at the back door (in Winchester Alley) at St. Mark’s at the following times:
Tuesdays 12:00 - 2:30
Wednesdays 3:00 - 5:00
Thursdays 2:00 - 4:00

If you would rather give a monetary gift for diapers to be purchased please mail in your check to St. Mark's and mark "diaper drive" in the memo.
