Adult Formation Ministry Fall Wednesday Series

The Wednesday series will continue through November 18. Presentations and discussions will take place via Zoom from 7:00-8:15 and conclude with prayer. Underpinning the series will be the new N.T. Wright book,
"God and the Pandemic". Each of the weeks will link the presentations
and discussions to current justice issues with aspects of Wright's
overarching theme of the pandemic and its impact on us as Christians
and as a society. Stay tuned for further information to come!

After a long illness, Roger Faber passed away
Thursday morning at home.
Carol, his loving wife and companion of many years
was with him.
I visited them on Tuesday afternoon,
and Bea Rocco brought Eucharist on Tuesday night.
I returned today for the final prayers from our Tradition
and to be with Carol.
Please, pray for her comfort and peace.
A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Mark's
when everyone can be together and safe.
Roger rests in peace, and may light perpetual
shine upon him. Christian+

Westminster Food Pantry
Thanksgiving Ingathering 2020

Due to COVID–19 restrictions, the pantry can’t handle the large quantities of food we have collected in the past because it takes too many people. This year the pantry will be accepting cash donations during November. Each $16.65 you donate will provide food for a week to a Heartside neighbor in-need.
Each $20.00 donation will provide a food-only gift card at Meijer in lieu of the traditional “Holiday Baskets” the pantry provides with all the ingredients for a holiday feast, including a turkey.
Please send your donations to St. Mark’s and we will send one check to the pantry in time for Thanksgiving.

Newcomers Ministry is forming!

We need more members! People have volunteered to serve on this ministry, but we need more. Please consider joining. We’re so thankful for the people who have become members of St. Mark’s during this pandemic. But we can’t leave the greeting to only Christian and Megan. We want to welcome all who visit St. Mark’s, offering them a clear, satisfying path to membership. If you’d like to be part of this worthy effort, please email Catherine Frerichs at frerichses@gmail.com.
