This Sunday at Youth Group:

Christmas is SO FUN! Why only celebrate it once each year?

Come celebrate it here in July, too! Bring a White Elephant gift and be ready for all of the classics. Carols. Games. Hot Cocoa.

You probably don’t want to wear your warmest Sweater...but I highly encourage ugly sweater style t-shirts!

(4-6 pm, Grades 6-12, Wesley House)

Help us bless Nash and Estes Elementary students again this year with donations of school supplies. This is the last Sunday to bring in school supplies. Look in the June & July Messengers for a complete list of requests, and how to make a monetary donation. We still need black Expo dry erase markers, Kleenex, and Chlorox wipes. Thank you!

July is Peanut Butter Party month at the ICS Foodbank.

Bring jars on Sundays or to the North parking lot on Saturdays, 10:00—11:00 AM. St. Mark’s goal is to win the fourth straight trophy for the most jars.  Additionally, please bring non-perishable food items (soup, cereal, pasta & sauce).  Give generously, the number of families needing food assistance is increasing while the amount of contributions is hardly keeping up with the demand.

We want to invite you to the memorial services for two church members who have passed away recently. Please plan to attend to honor their lives and support their families.

A memorial for Glenn Brechbiel will be held on Sunday, July 27 at 2 pm in the Magee campus sanctuary, with a reception immediately following in the Fellowship Hall. Glenn passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025.

A celebration of life will be held for Don Schmidt on Wednesday, July 30 at 11 am in the Fiesta Room in Sunflower, with a light lunch reception following. Don was a long time member of Sanctuary, then began worshipping on the Magee Campus at the early service. He passed away on June 2, 2025.

Disability Awareness -

Did you know most people with disabilities have super powers? You may have heard that if you lose one sense, your other senses become heightened. My daughter, Tieu, has a fine sense of touch to read Braille. And she can understand audio books at more than double the reader’s speed. Another super power is her ability to memorize details like phone numbers and addresses. And like many people with disabilities, she is very empathetic. Next time you encounter a person with disabilities, think about what super powers they might have.
