Outreach Opportunities

St. Mark’s College Ministry

As the members of St. Mark’s College Ministry Committee continue to look for ways to engage

Texas State students, we’ve been reminded that there’s one thing many of them lack: enough

food. In response to this need, there is a food collection for the student pantry at United Campus Ministry (UCM). This resource is available for anyone who needs it, not just

students who participate in UCM or Christ Chapel. Donations of non-perishables can be dropped off in the Parish Hall Foyer until Sunday, March 19th for delivery to

campus on March 20th. While you think about what you might bring, think also about what you might offer students at Texas State. Would you like to help prepare or serve a meal? Would you like to find out more about St. Mark’s College Ministry Committee? If so, speak to Father Christian or to committee chair Susan Hanson, skhanson@gmail.com.

EWC Spring Supper

The Episcopal Church Women (ECW) will hold their Spring Salad Meeting on Thursday, March 30th at 6:00pm. This is one of our most important meetings as we get to share the benefits from our Chili Cook-Off. The hard work done to make our Chili Cook-Off a success allows us to share with our community from the proceeds and this is the meeting where those decisions are made. It’s a great time to enjoy old friendships and make new ones. Come join us, bring your favorite salad to share with the group. All women of the church are cordially invited.

Welcome to the St. Mark's Staff

Welcome to Kelly Bolinger

Please welcome Kelly as our new Communications Director. She has been a member of St. Mark's since 2018 along with her husband John and their almost 17 year old daughter, Brooke. Kelly bleeds burnt orange and graduated from the University of Texas. She brings with her over a decade's worth of accomplished non-profit and community relations experience from the Central Texas area. She loves everything tennis, any chance to go to the beach, RVing with her family, loving on their family pets, taking Brooke around Texas for tennis tournaments and visiting with friends. And she is excited for this opportunity to make an impact with St. Mark's.
