All of us at St. Mark’s share a commitment to our faith and to our community, and we welcome visitors regardless of religious background, race, sexual orientation, or gender identity. Everyone is welcome here.
This Sunday We Bid Farewell to Associate for Music Ministries, David Plank
After more than five years of making music together with us at St. Mark’s, David Plank, Associate for Music Ministries, will be leaving on July 31st to move with his wife, Jamie McFarlin, and their cat, Phoebe, to Boulder, Colorado. As a token of our appreciation for his years of service, we invite you to make a contribution to a purse that will be presented to him on his last Sunday, July 28th. To contribute, please make checks payable to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church (memo: David Plank Purse) OR go to our website, stmarksevanston.org, click on the donate tab and follow the PayPal instructions (again, be sure to indicate it is for the David Plank Purse). Please be advised that donations to this purse are not tax deductible. Thank you, in advance, for your generosity.

Lakefront Ushers Needed:  Due to some planned absences, we are in need of two people to serve as ushers at the lakefront on Sunday, July 28 and Sunday, August 25. This involves arriving about 15 minutes early to hand out worship booklets, counting the number of people in attendance, and collecting the offering. The only requirements are a cheerful disposition and a willingness to be of service. If you can help on either of these dates, please let Pastor Debra know at   rector@stmarksevanston.org . Thanks!
