Conversation Cafes to Capital Campaign:
Eighteen months ago, nearly 60 of you, in fact – participated in a Conversation Café where we reflected together on three questions: (1) What keeps you coming back to St. Mark’s?, (2) Where do you see God at work at St. Mark’s?, and (3) What are your aspirations for St. Mark’s? These conversations and several subsequent ones, led your vestry to the realization that it is time for a capital campaign at St. Mark’s. In order to bring to fruition the aspirations and hopes we have discerned – to bring about this renewed vision for St. Mark’s - we will need to raise money. In April, the vestry contracted with Episcopal Church Foundation to guide us through the phases of a capital campaign. And on Pentecost Sunday (June 9) - the Episcopal Church Foundation consultant who has been assigned to us, Joe Merlino, will be joining us in worship and for two adult forums. We want you to come and take part. Because this is YOUR vision for the future of St. Mark’s.
