Please join us Sunday as we gather together to honor and celebrate all those who serve in a mothering role—nurturing, guiding, and caring for others with love and compassion.

Children’s Communion Class - May 18 - 1:30pm

To help prepare our children for full participation in the worship life of the church, St. Martin’s offers a special class each spring and fall focusing on the significance of the bread and wine in our faith. This spring, the class will take place at Café Monet Art and Clay Studio on South Lamar. Each child will have the opportunity to paint their own chalice while learning about the meaning of wine in Holy Communion. Once completed, the chalices will be fired to be food-safe and then returned to the children. Please meet at Café Monet at 1:30pm on Sunday, May 18. For more information, please contact Austin Shortes, Youth Minister (ashortes@saintmartins.org).

Are you interested in becoming a member of St. Martin’s?

Membership in the Lutheran Church and St. Martin’s can be achieved in one of several ways - baptism, affirmation of faith, or letter of transfer from another Lutheran congregation. At St. Martin’s, we particularly celebrate new members on the Day of Pentecost (June 8). If you are interested in becoming a member of St. Martin’s, please fill out the New Member form or contact Pr. Ellen (pastorellen@saintmartins.org).

Do you know a graduating student?

Please send names of high school, college, and post-grad students to fjones@saintmartins.org so we can celebrate them on June 1.
