Week 14 ~ Jul 26, 2026 ~ Hoarding vs. Sowing
Working Without Strength: When we work without “much-ness” or “strength” Me'od ( —)ד ֹא ְמor rather, when we use our Me’od only for ourselves—we follow the rich fool in the belief that our resources are for our protection, rather than for sowing into the world. Working without your much-ness in the biblical sense looks like hoarding talents or time because you’re afraid you won’t have enough. God’s economy is different: we find our strength by giving it away. When we align our resources with God's purposes, our much-ness becomes a source of life for everyone around us.continue reading the full study.

Youth Service Trip
St. Martin's Youth enjoyed an eventful and meaningful summer service trip to Corpus Christi. Accompanied by sponsors Whitney Myers and Anita Salmon, the group participated in a variety of service projects from Thursday through Sunday.
Their projects included volunteering at a local animal shelter, serving at a food bank, and helping with a beach cleanup. In addition to their service work, the youth and sponsors joined the Daily Prayer group, taking time each day to grow in faith and fellowship.
The trip provided a rewarding opportunity for the youth to serve others, strengthen their relationships, and live out their faith through acts of compassion and service.
