November 2, 2022

Dear Parents,

We start this month by honoring Saints and all those who have died. God made us each unique. Some of us might not think we are capable of being a saint. Saints became extraordinary because of their dedication to God and their services to others.

Take time to reflect on how you share God’s words, lovingly serve others, pray, and give yourself grace. You’re a work in progress, just like the Saints in heaven.

May the souls of the faithfully departed in the mercy of God rest in peace.

Enjoy your evening, and count the blessings God has given you!

Parenting Reflection

Major Qualities of Strong Families -- What do successful families have in common? Researchers have identified the qualities for our information. First, families value the unity of the family and have a high degree of Commitment to the Family as a group. A great deal of Appreciation is expressed to each other. They exchange a lot of positive messages. Strong families have Positive Communication Skills. Time is spent talking and listening to each other. Conflicts are resolved amicably. A Lot of Time is Spent Together. It is quality time in generous quantities. Strong families have a Special Ability to Cope with Stress and Crises. They focus on the positive support of those in crisis and seek growth opportunities. Most importantly, they have a High Degree of Spiritual Well-Being. Pope John Paul II developed and promulgated the theology of the Domestic Church. Ideally, our homes are the fertile grounds for discipleship, holiness, and sanctification, where our children are first introduced to our Faith. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. --Joshua 24:15
