Sunday, October 4, 10:00 am

We welcome all cats, dogs, birds, and other members of the Animal Kingdom (along with their humans) to join us on Sunday October 4th to celebrate the Patron Saint of Animals and receive a special blessing.

Please invite your friends and their pets!
Seventeenth Sunday after Pentecost
Sunday, September 27, 2020
We can safely seat 65 people under the social distancing guidelines, but we are further restricting attendance to 50 for our weekend liturgies. Attendance has ranged from 20-30 since we've reopened.

Click on the button below if you'd like to sign up to come in-person. Please bring a mask with you and plan to pass the peace from a safe distance!
Sung Mass begins at 10:00 a.m. Join in-person, via Facebook by clicking here, or via YouTube by clicking here. The livestream begins at 9:45, with the prelude beginning at ten minutes before the hour. Click here for this Sunday's leaflet.
Saturday Afternoon Vigil Mass

Join us for High Mass on Saturday afternoons at 4:00 p.m.! The service is identical to the 10:00 service on Sundays* with music, Sunday lessons, prayers, sermon, etc. This service may be convenient for people who work on Sunday, or for those who prefer to sleep late.

Nine souls were present at the first service last Saturday, so there's plenty of room for more with plenty of social distancing . Like the Sunday service, preregistration is requested but not required.

You are encouraged to attend and invite friends!

*Incense will not be used on Saturdays to provide an opportunity for parishioners who are sensitive to incense to attend a Sunday liturgy.
Daily Mass
The 12:00 Mass Monday-Friday is open for in-person worship. Attendance is limited to 10 people (including the altar party) at any one service. Unlike the weekend liturgies, preregistration is required so that we can ensure that we do not exceed 10 people.

Click here to preregister to attend in-person!
Anti-Racism Video
A moderated discussion on anti-racism took place on Monday, September 21 and featured panelists Sylvia Augustus, Helen Knowling and Dennis Robinson from St. Mary's. If you were unable to attend and would like to view the recording, you can click here.

We have compiled a short list of resources that were recommended by our panelists and others in this discussion to help deepen our anti-racism work. We hope you will take a look by clkciing here.
Sunday Morning Virtual Coffee Hour
We invite you to join in our virtual coffee hour via Zoom immediately following this Sunday's worship service. This will be a time set aside to check in with one another and share as we would on any normal Sunday. Grab a cup of coffee and hop on your computer or phone to join in the conversation. Click here (password is STM2020) and someone will be there to welcome you into this virtual gathering.
Rosary of the
Seven Sorrows of Mary
Join us in praying the Rosary of the Seven Sorrows of Mary every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.

You can come in-person (masks required, social distancing, etc.), or virtually.

If you'd like to purchase one of these unique rosaries, The I'Donnelly Co. at 66th and Troost has several that you can choose from. You can also order one from Amazon (click here; be sure it's a rosary with seven sets of seven beads).

The service leaflet can be downloaded here.
Artist's Inspiration Hour | Tuesday's @ 6:30 p.m.
Do you have an artistic goal? Do you find it rather hard to stay focused during the very stressful time. Won’t you consider joining the St. Mary’s Artists’ working group, via Zoom. We will meet weekly on Tuesday’s at 7 PM CST. Come to discuss an ongoing project or proposed project for which you want feed back or encouragement. Please also join us if you are looking for ideas or inspiration.
For questions, or more information, contact Sylvia Augustus at augustusimages@gmail.com. Click here to join.
Liturgy Nerds | Wednesday's @ 6:30 p.m.
This group traditionally meets at Bistro 303 each Wednesday after Evening Prayer for drinks and discussion. There is no official topic or agenda, but the group is known for liturgy geeks and theological chatter -- expect to hear about maniples, monstrances, and papal liturgical straws. During the lockdown we are meeting weekly via Zoom....BYOB.
