Support Our Parish
Thank you to the many parishioners who have continued giving, we thank you for your continued support of our parish! SMV depends on your donations to serve the faithful. With Masses suspended, we are unable to have our weekly collections through the basket at Masses. While we have taken many steps to conserve funds, we have certain ongoing expenses to continue the work of the parish and maintain our wonderful facilities.
If you usually contribute in the basket through the weekly envelopes, we’d ask that you mail your envelope to the office. Alternatively, we suggest that you take advantage of Venmo or one of our other easy electronic methods by contributing through electronic bank transfer using this form or by PayPal or credit card . We appreciate that these are challenging and uncertain times and your continued support of our parish is so very appreciated.
Know that we are praying for all of our parishioners daily, and please pray for our parish, that we are able to come through this crisis ready to continue to provide for all of our spiritual needs.
Church Hours for Private Prayer
During this Holy Week, the church will also be open for private prayer on Good Friday from 3:00pm – 6:00pm and on Easter Sunday from 12:00pm – 7:00pm. This is in addition to the usual times it is open, every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 9am-noon, and during the time of confessions. We ask that no more than ten people be in church at the same time and that people not come if they have a fever, cough or any symptoms of illness and to maintain space from one another in the church itself.
Ringing Bells on Easter Sunday
St. Mary's Visitation will join other parishes and Catholic faithful within the Archdiocese of Milwaukee by ringing bells for one minute at noon on Easter Sunday. All are invited and encouraged to participate from home in proclaiming the joy of the Resurrection together.
We Need Updated Email Addresses
Since you are receiving this email, you are aware that this, along with our parish website, is St. Mary's main communication tool. We have found that for many parishioners we either have an old email, or no email, and they are NOT receiving these updates and information. Please forward this to every SMV parishioner you know, asking that if they haven't received this, to please use this link to share their email with us. Thank you for your help!
