Vestry Nominations
We are excited to announce the formation of our nominating committee, Susan Rumph and Elaine Curry, to facilitate the nomination process for vestry positions. We invite all members of our congregation to consider nominating individuals who embody the spirit of leadership and service, as we have crucial openings that need to be filled.
Vestry Positions Opening up this year:
- Co-Warden - 1 year term (2025)
- Co-Warden - 2 year term (2026)
- Vestry Member - 3 year term (2027)
- Vestry Member- 3 year term (2027)
In case there is any confusion about the wardens terms there is one 2-year Warden term and one 1-year Warden term available, for this election only. Moving forward, they will both be 2 year terms. This strategic approach not only fosters continuity within our leadership but also ensures that we avoid the challenge of having both Warden positions open for election simultaneously in the future.

EXCITING NEWS FOR DECEMBER! | |
Dear St. Mary’s Parishioners,
We are so excited to share that, for the entire month of December, our blessing box has been selected by store leadership to benefit from the Stop & Shop’s Bloomin’ 4 Good Program, created to fight hunger across the communities served by Stop & Shop.
For the month of December, the purchase of a $10.99 bouquet in the sleeve marked “Bloomin’ 4 Good” from the Stop & Shop in Hampton Bays will brighten a home or make someone’s day while also directing a $1 donation for our Blessing Box.
This is a great way to broaden awareness in the local community and raise donations for our organization to help fight hunger.
Let’s get started! Share the news with friends and family. Call, send emails, and post on social media. The more bouquets sold, the greater the donation we will receive from Stop & Shop!
To learn more about this program, please visit stopandshop.2givelocal.com.
