STAYING CONNECTED AS A FAITH COMMUNITY

Our Joint DRIVE-THRU Food Drive was a huge success!
In one hour we had 67 cars drop off donations for MACC and we were able to fill 7 vehicles! MACC was so grateful for this donation. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, it was great to see your faces. CLICK HERE to see some of the photos from that rainy day.

The Way of Light: Stations of the Resurrection

This Sunday, May 3rd at 4:30 pm we will pray the Easter-tide liturgical devotion known as “The Way of Light” or Via Lucis. Like the Way of the Cross, the Way of Light pauses at ‘stations’ or stories of encountering the Risen Lord from Easter to Pentecost. We will take a virtual journey to remember and pray, as we open our hearts to encounter the Risen Christ in our own day. Parishioners from St. Mary's and Concordia have contributed stunning art for this worship service (others are writing reflections that will be included in an upcoming book of Easter Devotions). May we walk boldly into the light with the Risen Christ!

Prayer for People Critically Ill or Facing Great Uncertainty

God of the present moment,
God who in Jesus stills the storm
and soothes the frantic heart;
bring hope and courage to all
who wait or work in uncertainty.
Bring hope that you will make them the equal
of whatever lies ahead.
Bring them courage to endure what cannot be avoided,
for your will is health and wholeness;
you are God, and we need you.
