St. Matthew Family and Friends,

A very blessed Memorial Day Weekend to all of you, as we remember and honor those who gave their lives for our freedom. We lift in prayer their loved ones in our midst.

It is a unique time we are in, and, while we are able to now gather in small groups in Michigan, gatherings of family and friends may take on a different format this weekend. However you choose and are able to gather together, please stay safe and healthy. And above all, please love one another well.

Here's what's happening at St. Matthew!

  • Installation and Ordination Update for Austin We praise God and rejoice that seminarian Austin Wellhousen was assigned the Divine Call as our Wixom campus Associate Pastor. Austin and wife Claire are expecting their first child. Austin has classes through the end of June. They will move to Michigan in July. His ordination and installation at St. Matthew’s Wixom campus is now scheduled for Saturday, July 11.

Sunday, May 17: 700-800 people

Due to worldwide Zoom issues, we were only able to broadcast audio via Zoom last Sunday. Despite the technology issues, the service was God-filled and we are thankful to Him for being in the details!

We have had reports of members unable to connect at all last week, and we have no record of phone-in callers. We are sorry for that situation. Keep technology in prayer, as churches around the world are reaching people in ways that that they never before have, and technology companies are working hard to respond to the demand and changing needs.
Financial Stewardship
Thank you for your support of ministry!
Your generosity continues, even during these difficult times, and we are so thankful and blessed!
