Thank You for Your Incredible Generosity!
St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church parishioners, preschool staff, and parents — once again, you have blown us away with your generosity!
This school year, you have blessed our preschool with six new tablets for our technology program, three new seesaws, and an abundance of wonderful new toys and manipulatives.
Thank you for the love and support you continually show to our preschool, its staff, and the families we serve. Your ongoing generosity is truly a blessing, and we are deeply grateful.

Café Theology
Our next book for Cafe Theology is Jesus Before the Gospels, by Bart D. Ehrman. The book examines oral tradition and its role in shaping the stories about Jesus we encounter in the New Testament that shape our understanding of Christianity. We will start this book on November 15th.
Cafe Theology is open to all. We meet the first and third Saturday of each month from 10:00 - 11:30am in the parish library found in the rear of the parish hall. Breakfast and coffee are served.
Please join us for a lively discussion and good food.
There will be no Cafe Theology on October 18th due to the Parish Workday. During December we will meet on the 6th but not the 20th.

What’s Your Story?
Hopefully you’ve noticed the long “blackboard” in the hallway; if not, please look for it this weekend. Everyone is invited to post something about their own individual stories. Just take one of the “notebook pages” and jot something down, then peel off the backing and stick it to the black paper.
As Christians we are all part of a great big Story - the best ever written! And as Christians we are called to be witnesses - how has the Author of the greatest story ever told worked in our lives?
We ALL have a story worth sharing, so let’s fill that “blackboard” with them!
If you’d like to share your story in either the newsletter or during a service, please contact Terri Hurst.
And Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior…” Luke 1:46-47, NRSV
Thank you!
Terri Hurst, Stewardship Chair
