2024-2025 School Year Calendar

2025-2026 Tentative School Year Calendar

Message from the Principal

Dear St. Michael-St. Gabriel Families and Friends,

As we begin Holy Week, we will start with a small prayer service during our morning announcements each day through Holy Thursday. Students will also have until Holy Thursday to collect any donations they may have for the Missionary Childhood Association. Mission boxes can be brought to the office any day next week. On Good Friday, as is our tradition, students will be asked to work in silence, as a small sacrifice of remembrance of Christ’s ultimate sacrifice for us. We ask that they are quiet from the time they arrive until the time they leave school. Guidance and expectations will be reviewed with our students the day before. Please also remember that we will dismiss at 11:15 a.m. on April 18th after our Stations of the Cross. We also will not have school the day after Easter.

Next week, students in Grades 3-8 will also begin their ILEARN summative testing. As a reminder, please be sure your child arrives at school on time. Most of our morning exams begin promptly at 8:00 a.m., and we do not want students interrupting testing sessions that have already begun. We have both morning and afternoon tests, so please refrain from scheduling any doctors’ appointments during the school day for the next three to four weeks. Please also see that your child has a working set of earbuds or headphones for testing.

Lastly, over the break, we had about half a dozen report cards get returned to us because of incorrect addresses. As a reminder, if you move, please let us know so that we can make the necessary changes on our end.

God Bless,

Mrs. Ramos

Ramos
