Dear St. Michael-St. Gabriel Families and Friends,
We want to thank our cafeteria staff and our parent volunteers who made this morning’s Christmas feast a huge success. We are so blessed that we are able to come together as a whole community this time of year. It’s always such a delight to see the smiles on our students’ faces as they celebrate this Christmas season together.
Over the Christmas break, we will work on mailing report cards, NWEA and ILEARN test scores, as well as any Title I reports that need to be shared.
As we look ahead to next semester, please know that we will distribute our registration packets for the 2026-2027 school year when we return. Those forms will be due by the end of January, as we will open up enrollment to new families in February. Please note that we do not hold spaces for currently enrolled students, so if you wish your child to return next year, please have those forms completed by the end of January. The last two years we have had families miss out on enrolling with us because they waited until the spring, and classes had already filled up.
Please also mark your calendars for our Parent-Teacher Conferences which will be held on January 14th and 15th from 3:00-7:00 p.m. (PreK hours will be from 2:00-5:00 p.m.) This also means that aftercare will not be offered either day, as we want students to attend the conferences with their parents, so please plan accordingly.
Remember that classes resume on Monday, January 5th, but until then, I wish all of you a very safe, relaxing, and blessed Christmas break!
