A Message From The Principal

Dear St. Michael-St. Gabriel Families and Friends,

Next week, we are celebrating reading in our schools and hosting our Spring Book Fair. Additionally, students in Grades 2 and 3 will complete the annual IREAD-3 exam. We want to remind students of how important it is for them to take their time and come in well-rested for this exam.  Since our students will be testing next week, please be sure students arrive on time and are in school, unless they are ill. We only have a small window to complete make-up testing.

To date, 84% of our families have returned their registration packets for next year.  I cannot stress enough how imperative it is to turn in your paperwork so as not to risk losing a spot for your child for next year.  Please contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.

Lastly, next week is a dress down week for our students, as this is a reward they earned from our annual Walk-A-Thon in the fall. We just ask that all student attire be appropriate. Students should not wear torn jeans, leggings, or pajamas.

God Bless,

Mrs. Ramos

Ramos

Prayer for Students

Lord our God,
in your wisdom and love
you surround us with the mysteries of the universe.
Send your Spirit upon these students
and fill them with your wisdom and blessings.
Grant that they may
devote themselves to their studies
and draw ever closer to you,
the source of all knowledge. We ask this through Christ our Lord.

R/. Amen.

8th Grade Trash Bag Sales

It’s that time of year when we know many of you are beginning to bag up your leaves and clean out your gardens. If you are interested in purchasing trash bags from the school office, we are selling rolls for $11 a piece. All proceeds go to fund the eighth grade class trip. An initial order form was sent home with all students this week, if you are interested in purchasing any.  We do sell these bags throughout the year as well, so you may consider purchasing some in the spring as well.
