" Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God ." 1st John 4:7-16
Message from the President
Dear Parents,

Over the past few weeks, our leadership teams have been busy working on our re-entry plan so that we can welcome all of our students and staff back to school in August. As we know, the landscape is changing every week. So our teams will continue to review the information that we receive from the Marion County Health Department, Indiana Department of Education and the Office of Catholic Schools to ensure that the plan we put in place will protect our students and staff.

It is important for you to know that we will be establishing new protocols for cleaning and sanitation. We will expect proper handwashing and physical distancing to the extent possible, wearing of masks and minimal sharing of resources as part of our protocols.

As the weeks unfold, we will continue to keep you updated with the latest information and final re-entry plan. Please continue to join us in praying for a safe rest of the summer.

God Bless,

Mrs. Hoy
Message from the Principal
Dear St. Michael-St. Gabriel Families and Friends,

All families should have received their student’s report card, as well as some additional summer mailings. If you have not received your child’s report card, please contact the main office, and we will mail another to you. If you have any questions about your student’s grades, we ask that you reach out to your child’s teachers, as they would be able to answer any questions you have. We also want to remind our families that while many have done a great job of returning student textbooks, we are still missing about a quarter of the books that were sent home. It is very important that these books are returned so that we do not have to charge families a replacement fee for those missing books. Those textbooks can be dropped off during our summer office hours. If you know you still have items to pick up for your student, please pick up those items as well. Families who still have items at school were notified last week.

Last Friday families were sent a link to our E-Learning survey through Jupiter. About 10% of our community has already completed this survey, but we would like to hear from everyone. This survey is available in both English and Spanish, and as stakeholders in the school, your feedback helps guide some of the decisions we are making for the fall.

Our leadership team continues to meet each week to discuss the reopening of the school in the fall and what that will look like for you and your student. As we continue to finalize our plans, we will share that information with you. Throughout the summer, we ask that you continue to practice social distancing and proper handwashing with your student so that he or she better understands those safety measures that we have in place on campus when we return to school.

Finally, we want to wish all of our fathers a Happy Father’s Day! Your leadership and dedication to your families deserves to be celebrated this weekend.

God Bless,

Mrs. Ramos

Pope Francis prayer for protection from Coronavirus

O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign
of salvation and hope.
We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick.
At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain,
with steadfast faith.
You, Salvation of the Roman People, know what we need.
We are certain that you will provide, so that,
as you did at Cana of Galilee,
joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial.
Help us, Mother of Divine Love,
to conform ourselves to the Father’s will
and to do what Jesus tells us:
He who took our sufferings upon Himself,
and bore our sorrows to bring us,
through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection.
Amen.
We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God.
Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test
– and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin.
