ORGANIZED SINGING/MUSIC!

…aka CHOIRS! ….or BANDS!

CHOIR TRAINING PROGRAM (primarily for Choir Members – but open to ANYONE!)

• Wednesdays, 5-6 PM –vocal / reading music / Worship & Liturgy training.

FAMILY CHOIR

• Kids who LOVE to sing (1^st/2^nd Grade good readers thru Middle School)… PLUS ANY SINGING PARENTS!!
• Wednesdays: 6:00-7:30
• Sundays: 9:15 thru end of 10:15 Service

ADULT CHOIR

• High School thru Retired – some musical experience of ANY kind always a plus – but TOTALLY GREEN also OK!
• Wednesdays: 7:00-8:30’ish; at 8:30 Choir Members who like more of a challenge continue thru 9:00: The Chamber Singers
• Sundays: 9:15 thru end of 10:15 Service

ST. MICHAEL’S BAND

• Keyboard/drums/bass-guitar… LOOKING FOR…
• 1-2 Guitarists / flute, saxophone, other solo-type instruments

CARILONNEURS

• Folks who can read and play a melody “one-finger” at a minimum
• Play before and after 10:15 services – Funerals too

JOINING ANY CHOIR:

1. Show up ONE time – observe or join in! ….you had a good time?
2. Try for a month
3. Still GREAT! Then stay! ….or, you’ve realized “this is not my cup of tea”

• 9:15 – Rehearsal in the Choir Room
• 9:45/50 – Rehearsal in the Church
• 10:15 – Service
• 11:45 – FULL ADULT/FAMILY CHOIRS rehearsal as no rehearsal during Thanksgiving Week.

WEDNESDAY, Nov 27

• NO REHEARSALS; singers in town asked to be present for 6:30 Thanksgiving Eve Service

This week, the Bag-Tree goes into the Narthex

(providing for children and families during OCPS Christmas Break). 

Please take a bag, fill, and bring back if you’d like to participate this final month of the year This collection is a biggie:Christmas Break is two weeks.
