MONDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY

Beginning Monday, September 26th at 9:30

in the Conference Room

When you think of the Old Testament book of Ruth, do you think of a tender love story? It is that – but it’s so much more. Ruth is the story of loss, redeeming love, and legacy. Come, join us this Fall and meet your Kinsman-Redeemer, Jesus, on every page.

We will use Kelly Minter’s study – Ruth: loss, love & legacy – to guide us. It can be found at Amazon.com and LifeWay.com. We will gather each Monday morning for 7 weeks, beginning September 26th, and ending November 14th. We will not meet on October 24th.

If you have any questions, please contact Patty Tew at 407-341-3218 or [email protected].

BRING BACK YOUR BAGS!!

This is the week, if you took a bag, bring it back during the week and leave it at the office, OR bring it back on Sunday and leave it at the back of Quigley, OR at the office. THANK YOU!

PLEASE NOTE: in regards to this ministry, for those not presently attending church, maybe watching online, or on vacation, if you’d like to participate when we are not actively in the week of “bag filling and collecting”, it is possible to arrange for AMAZON and/or PUBLIX to deliver food to the church.

TEXT:

Three gates in-a the east,

Three gates in-a the west,

Three gates in-a the north,

Three gates in-a the south,

Twelve gates to the city, Hallelu.

Oh, what a beautiful city!

My mother lives up in glory,

I want to live there too.

My father lives up in glory,

I want to live there too.

My sister lives up in glory,

I want to live there too.

My brother lives up in glory,

I want to live there too.

The beautiful city of God!

I want to be in that number,

The beautiful city of God!

Twelve gates to the city, Hallelujah.

Blessing of the Pets

Saturday, Oct. 8

Our annual Blessing of the Pets will take place on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 10 a.m. in the church courtyard.

Collecting Donations for Harbor House Pet Kennel

St. Michael's is again collecting for the Paws for Peace Shelter at Harbor House.

Harbor House is Orange County's only state-certified domestic abuse service provider and seeks to eliminate domestic abuse in Central Florida. Harbor House has the only on-site kennel in Central Florida for the pets of domestic abuse survivors at its Emergency Campus. The Paws for Peace Kennel removes a key barrier to survivors seeking help and safety and ensures no family member is left behind in an abusive home.

We are seeking Dog Food, Cat Food, Kitty Litter, Treats, New Pet Beds and Toys.

You may drop off donations at the church office or bring them to the Blessing of the Pets on Oct. 8.

Kjerstin and Collin Robertson will again be baking treats for our animal friends!
