Youth Mission Team Prayer Updates
Youth Mission Trip
June 9-15, 2019
During the Week of June 10-15, the Youth of St. Michael's will travel to serve in the Appalachia region of Tennessee. As a way of coming around the students who have committed themselves to this journey, the community of St. Michael's is invited to pray for each person attending the mission trip. Those sensing a call to pray on their behalf would receive:
- Daily updates from the team
- Daily guides to prayer
|Connect and Serve Team Meeting
Our next connect and serve meeting on Wednesday, July 17 at 6:30 pm.
There are exciting opportunities coming up and we will be presenting our calendar of projects through January. Our overview includes everything from back to school, and Angel Tree to the next Serve the World Day and some new surprises. It's an exciting time to look at how we are connecting and serving our community and each other. Please join us!
Sunday School: We need individuals to serve each Sunday!
This summer we will combine our classes and meet in the Camp R.O.C.K. room. Sunday school will be led by Ms. Cindy but she will need a few weekly helpers. We are asking for one adult and one youth volunteer to help each week. If everyone signs up for one week to help that would be great! We only have 15 Sundays to cover.
Please click here to sign up for your Sunday!
EYC (Youth Group) is Out for Summer
This EYC year has come to an end. It was an amazing year for which we thank God in Christ for. EYC (Youth Group) for all middle & high school students will pick back up on Sunday, August 11th in the Youth Room of Fordham Hall at 5:30 PM. Save the date!
Youth Sunday School is Out for Summer
This Youth Sunday School year has come to an end. We pray what has been learned and experienced during these Sunday mornings will be remembered and used by God to form both the teachers and students further into the image and likeness of Jesus. We want to thank our Youth Sunday School teachers, those people who have responded to Jesus' call to walk alongside our students during this time, for their love and service.

WORLD MUSIC ON PENTECOST
Our communion anthem this coming Pentecost Sunday, is a song in the language of the Yoruba Tribe, who are located in the southwestern part of Nigeria. In sounds of exultation, the song pleads for the coming of God's Almighty Holy Spirit!
Maybe more "USA" than "African" in sound (!), this rendition at a Catholic church is still sung with energy and enthusiasm! "Wa, Wa, Wa, Emimimo!": Click Here to Listen and Watch
- this is one of the World songs collected and published by the Iona Community, based on the Isle of Iona, Western coast of Scotland - well worth a visit!
