Dear Holy St. Patrick Families!

February! Valentines Day! Ash Wednesday! Leap year - we have an extra day this February! Such a beautiful month of LOVE!!! and No one loves us more than God!

For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to  separate   us  from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39

Isn't that beautiful? Not our worries, illnesses, finances, misunderstandings - nothing will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord! What is our response to that unconditional love? I can't help but be in wonder and awe at that great love for me (and you), and I want to share that love with others.

My continued prayer for you and your families is to imagine together - a life filled with more peace, love, joy and holiness!!!  Philippians 4:8: “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”

  • February 2nd - Dia de la Candelaria - Candlemas (also spelled Candlemass), also known as the Feast of the Presentation of Jesus Christ and the Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is a Christian Holy Day commemorating the presentation of Jesus at the Temple. It is based upon the account of the presentation of Jesus in Luke 2:22–40. Please bring your candles on Sunday, Feb. 2nd to be be blessed!
Important Dates for
Elementary Religious Education

  • February 5 - Classes at 4:30 or 6:30. Also RCIC for parents and children at 5:30pm
  • Please note change - there will be NO Family night this week. Classes will remain as above.
  • February 12 - Classes at 4:30 or 6:30. Protecting God's Children Classes on Boundaries. Also RCIC for parents and children at 5:30pm
  • February 19 -Classes at 4:30 or 6:30. Protecting God's Children Classes on Boundaries. Also RCIC for children at 5:30pm - No Parent class.
  • February 26 - No Classes - ASH WEDNESDAY
Intercessory Prayer - Sunday, February 2, 11:00 AM
We have a prayer team available every first Sunday of each month after the 10am Mass, to provide intercessory prayer for individuals, married couples and families. This prayer team itself is open to all who are called to minister to others in this way. They will meet in the chapel immediately after this Mass. The Lord says in Matthew Ch 18, “ For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” We invite you to come for prayer – for healing, insight, strength in a trial or thanksgiving.
Protecting God's Children for Young Children - is a program we offer every year that helps children understand protecting their boundaries. We will offer classes on February 12 and 19th. I have the resources for each grade at the sign in table if you want to look it over. We also have parent information that you can share with your children at home.
If for any reason you choose not to have your child attend, please sign the waiver - also at the registration desk.

St. Patrick Religious Education Ministry is here to empower and support families in their ministry to form and teach their children about God and the Catholic faith. This is a life-long process that includes us as adults and those families with special needs!
