Thank you for all that you do for Assistance League of Inland North County (‘ALINC’). Whether it be donating your gently used items to us for resale in our shop, or monetary donations, or the privilege of your time volunteering with us or shopping for hidden treasures in our Thrift & Consignment Shop – every gift, every moment is appreciated.

Our most recent Giving Tuesday event which stretched over the last month of 2023 was our best in five years! We raised over $16,000, which helps fund our programs focusing on literacy, education, and other community needs through our Operation School Bell and Operation Duffle Bag programs. Every time you donate, you help to put shoes on children’s feet and provide homeless and foster high school graduates with some of the basics to face life on their own. Any amount is gratefully received and put to good use.

In the spirit of the month of March and all its serendipitous capabilities, I would be remiss in not mentioning our good fortune in the form of two anonymous donors coming to our aid and providing the funds needed to produce a lovely legacy film about ALINC. Comet Award

On March 6, 2024, at the Palomar College Community Showcase held at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido, Assistance League of Inland North County received the Palomar College Foundation Comet Award for Community Service.

It is such a great honor and privilege to be acknowledged for our commitment to service, giving back to our communities and making life a little brighter for so many. Click here to view the 60-second video played at the Showcase event.

April 26 will mark the one-year anniversary of the Palomar College naming event [Reported in our July 2023 CNL] when the school officially named two of its training rooms in honor of ALINC. Since 2008, our organization has provided over $500,000 to Palomar College for its EME and Nursing school programs. We continue to be honored and proud of our community partnership with Palomar College.
