Kindness Campaign
New to our Tuesday Newsday is our Kindness Campaign . This campaign is student-led and will feature submissions of kind acts they see here at
St. Paul on a daily basis. We will feature one each month, but be assured there are many acts of kindness in the halls, classrooms and offices here at SP.

Homecoming Week:
Priscilla Godlewski '20 created a homemade aloe-glitter face mix for the USA/Red, White and Blue Spirit Day. She graciously shared it with many students to use themselves and show their patriotic spirit. Thanks Priscilla for your generosity and kindness!

FBI Youth Program

This summer Alexis Tierpack '22 had a great opportunity to attend the 10th annual FBI NAA Leadership Camp held by the New Britain Police Department.

Throughout this week-long program, she visited the FBI Headquarters in New Haven , the CT Police Academy in Meriden and the New Britain Police Station . "Each place we visited opened my eyes to different job opportunities I may want to pursue." said Tierpack.

The week was full of interactive classes such as a K9 demonstration, a police officer training class and taking part in MILO (multiple interactive learning objectives), an interactive simulator where she “drove” a police car. Alexis says, "The week was fun and full of new things to learn. We were put to the test in everything we did. I would recommend this camp to anyone but especially students who are interested in law enforcement jobs."
Academics
Lana Marie David '21 and Sophia Gerst '21 took part in the Perry Initiative Program in early November. These students are looking to go into the medical field upon graduation. The girls came back sharing their experience with the entire student body and with such enthusiasm.

The Perry Initiative is committed to inspiring young women to be leaders in the exciting fields of Orthopaedic Surgery and Engineering. Perry Outreach Programs partner with medical centers, universities, and high schools to host young women in high school. These day-long programs are held at over 30 locations nationwide throughout the year.

Participants perform mock orthopaedic surgeries and conduct biomechanical engineering experiments, while also hearing from prominent women engineers and surgeons in the field.
