National Merit Scholarship

Thomas Pauloz '20, Senior Class President was among the top three percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2020 competition by taking the 2018 Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, or PSAT/NMSQT. "Those being named Commended Students have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success." - Spokesperson for NMSC

The Congress of Future Medical Leaders

Romi Bagdasarian '21, was nominated and chosen to attend the Congress of Future Medical Leaders honors program at UMass Lowell during the summer. She enjoyed three; 11-hour days of activities, programs and global medical speakers. "I studied the most interesting things, witnessed a live surgery, met some great people in the medical field and heard from Nobel Laureates and top medical school deans! What an experience!"

Romi is planning to study pre-med and/or Biochemistry when she graduates from St. Paul in 2021. She's not sure where in the medical field she will land, only that she will definitely be in medicine.
St. Paul Forever Falcon Gala
Our first and biggest fundraising event of the year is right around the corner. We would love for you to join us in celebrating our Circle of Honor recipients while having a fun night out supporting our St. Paul students!

Ways you might be able to help:

1.) Organize a table of 8-12 guests by being one of our Table Captains? Talk to friends and family, encourage them to attend the event, and help fill a table. (Discount on table of ten tickets purchased by 10/11/19  www.spchs.com/foreverfalcons  for tickets). Email Kristen Aldieri, our Table Coordinator @  kristen@reneytours.com .
 
2.) Support the event with a sponsorship or donate an item: We are looking for items such as:  sporting event tickets, sports memorabilia, concert tickets, theatre tickets, hotel stays, timeshare stays, rental property stays, unique experiences, spa trips, household decor, golf outings, wine or brewery tours, parties/BBQs for multiple people, etc.
 
3.) Give of your time: Alum, Past Parents, Grandparents - all are welcome! Our next meeting is Wednesday October 9, 2019 at 6:00pm at St. Paul and lots of hands make for light work. Please reach out to Shelley Mendoza, Events Coordinator at  smendoza@spchs.com .

If you or someone you know has a prospective 6, 7, or 8 th grade student; has a transfer student in the Class of 2022 or 2023 looking to join us; or has interest in seeing our great school, please contact our admissions office . At our open houses you have an opportunity to speak to current students, teachers and administration about our academic, athletic and extracurricular activity programs. The tour begins at 2:00pm on 10/6 and at 10:00am on 10/26.

Michael E. Walsh Memorial 5K

Michael E. Walsh '07 was a standout runner at St Paul's High School and Fordham University who was tragically killed after being hit by a snow plow while running in his hometown of Torrington, CT.
This race is being held in his memory.
This event will be held at Riverfront Park in Hartford.

Registration opens at 8:30, the kid's fun run will start at 9:30 and the 5K at 10:00.

Bristol Health, Title Sponsor of the 2019 - 50th Anniversary Mum-A-Thon Road Race

The Mum-A-Thon road race, entering its 50th year. It is also the final event of the Mum festival!
We have a non-competitive 1 mile race, the Monster Mile!
