Warden Update

My Sisters and Brothers of St Paul’s,
I hope this note finds you well and in good spirits, for Christ is among us!

On February 14 th , your Wardens and Sioux Icenhower from the vestry went to visit Bishop Robert O'Neill and Cannon Ruth Woodliff-Stanley . It was a wonderful discussion, full of energy. The purpose of our visit was to discuss the lack of candidates for our open clergy position and our approach for finding our place for St Paul’s.

We started our discussion with concern about not having received more candidates for priest in charge at St Paul’s. More on this later. . . .

The Joint Social and Ecological Justice committee of our three parishes is offering a viewing of “Fort Collins: The Choice City… for Whom?” The film will be shown in the sanctuary. We are also thrilled to announce that the film’s local producer, Betty Aragon-Mitotes, will be present to introduce the film and lead discussion afterward. “Choice City,” filmed in 2016, is about the historical and current discrimination and racism that occurs in Fort Collins. Save the date!

Flowers for the Altar

T o dedicate altar flowers in memory of a loved one, in celebration of a birthday
or anniversary, or just to express gratitude to God, sign up on the list located on the red bulletin board where we used to gather for coffee. The money for these flowers comes from donations. We ask for a $25 donation, but any amount is acceptable. Write the check to St. Paul’s, put “Flowers” in the memo line, and put it in the offering plate. Thanks!
Give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's

"We are, in fact, little icons of God, carrying the image of the Creator stamped on our souls. Each of us wondrous, complex, mystifying humans points in our very nature to the author of the cosmos."
