Message for Stewardship Month to St. Paul’s Family

Dear siblings in Christ, I hope you are staying cool in the heat.

As we look toward September, we enter our annual Stewardship Month, a time when we pause to remember that everything we have is a gift from God and that our giving is part of our spiritual life. Stewardship is not about fundraising; it is about gratitude, discipleship, and shared responsibility for the ministry God has entrusted to us at St. Paul’s.

This month is very significant because it helps us reconnect with the heart of Christian generosity by offering our time, our gifts/talents, and our resources so that our church can continue to grow as a place of welcome, compassion, and hope. Through our stewardship series, we will reflect on how God has blessed us, how our parish has been strengthened by your faithfulness, and how we can continue stepping forward together into the work God is calling us to do.

I invite you to join me with open hearts as we explore what faithful giving means for each of us and for our shared life in Christ. May this season deepen our gratitude and renew our commitment to the mission we share.

Grace and peace,

Carolyne+

Rector, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
