Re: Adult Sunday School: "Luke: Jesus and the Outsiders, Outcasts and Outlaws" is the title of our current study. The book, written by Adam Hamilton, is available to read on Kindle or paperback from Amazon. Class starts at 9:30 am in the Parish Hall. Come see what it's all about!!



Quarters for Heifer Fundraiser: Our Sunday School kiddos request that you bring your quarters this Sunday to help with their Heifer Fundraiser. There will be a bank in the Narthex.


Altar Flowers: Most dates during the summer months are available for altar flowers. June 22nd and July 6th are spoken for but all other Sundays are open through September. Call or text Jo Cargill-Krug to reserve a date at (870-613-6981).


Episcopal Church Women’s Summer Quest: ECW Summer Quest is just around the corner! All Episcopal women are invited to spend a weekend of fellowship, reflection, and fun at Camp Mitchell for the annual women's retreat May 30th-June 1st. Join Quiet Day on Friday for "Encountering God Through Music," led by the Rev. Teresa Cantrell. Featured speaker is renowned storyteller, Kathy Culmer, whose theme is "Recalling Our Stories." Bishop Harmon will host breakfast on Saturday and celebrate Holy Eucharist Saturday morning. Various registration options, with or without housing or Quiet Day, are available. Mark Your Calendar:

  • Coffee Hour: After the service, everyone is invited to the Parish House (two lefts at the bottom of the steps) for refreshments and fellowship
  • Care Team Meeting: Sunday, June 1st, after the 10:30 am service
  • Shrimp Dinner: Thursday, June 5th at 6:00 pm
  • Mahjongg Lessons: Every Sunday at 2:00 pm in the Parish Hall
  • Adult Sunday School: Sundays, 9:30 am in the Parish Hall
  • The Chosen Discussion Group: Every Monday from 5:30-7 pm. During the waiting period for Season 5 of The Chosen to become available, we will be using our Tuesday 3-4:30 pm meeting time to put together a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle depicting Jesus and the apostles.


Blessing Box/Nursing Home Items: We are collecting personal care items for nursing homes as well as items for the blessing box! Ideas for the nursing home- lotion, Kleenex (travel size), warm fuzzy socks, small throw blankets, wipes, etc. Ideas about what to donate for the Blessing Box? Rice Krispie treats, pop tarts, ramen noodles, fruit snacks, granola bars or chips work! Thank you! 😊

This Sunday, during the 10:30 service, we will recognize our three 2025 high school graduates. Below are some of their plans ahead:


Sophia Bridgers (Daughter of Jamie & Andrew Bridgers, granddaughter of Mike Smith): Sophia will attend Hendrix College. She has received $150k in scholarships, including the Sara Lowe Scholarship and the Saltzman Scholarship.


Ryan Mulick (Daughter of Kristi Ketz & Patrick Mulick): Ryan will attend U of A and plans to study interior design. She has received the U of A leadership scholarship, the Independence County U of A Alumni Scholarship and the Arkansas Blood Institute Scholarship.


Logan Warden (Daughter of Kirk & Michelle Warden):  Logan is graduating from Batesville High School with distinguished honors. She will be attending the University of Arkansas where she will be in the honors college majoring in exercise science as she pursues a premed path. She is the recipient of a U of A Leadership Scholarship.
