Upcoming Events & News

Fun & Safe Halloween on Main Street: Spooky season is almost here! If you would like to contribute candy to be given out on Halloween, you can drop it off at the church office or it can be given to Brenda Bittle. Volunteers are needed and appreciated to also help hand out candy! 👻


McSpadden Wedding Invitation: Jacqui & Scott invite everyone to their son Will’s wedding to Ms. Maree Morris. The wedding will take place on Saturday, November 1st at 4:00 pm at The Los Ramones Wedding Barn at 5335 Harrison Street here in Batesville.


ECW Meeting: ECW will meet to discuss the upcoming pie fundraiser for November. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 5th at 11:30 am at The River.


Adult Sunday School: Adult Sunday School is reading Adam Hamilton book, The Call, and we will continue meeting at 9:15 each Sunday morning in the Parish Hall. Come see what it's all about!!


Altar Flowers: The next upcoming available dates for flowers are November 9th & 23rd and December 14th. Call or text Jo Cargill-Krug to reserve a date at (870-613-6981).


Children’s Sunday School: Children's Sunday School will have a Year of Service this year. For anyone who is homebound and needs help or assistance with small tasks, please reach out to the church office. Children's Sunday School also plans on helping with the Care Team as well.


Mark Your Calendar:

  • Children’s Sunday School: Sunday, November 9th & 23rd at 9:30 am
  • Coffee Hour: After the service, everyone is invited to the Parish House (two lefts at the bottom of the steps) for refreshments and fellowship
  • Adult Sunday School: Sundays, 9:15 am in the Parish Hall


Blessing Box/Nursing Home Items: We are collecting personal care items for nursing homes as well as items for the blessing box! Ideas for the nursing home- lotion, Kleenex (travel size), warm fuzzy socks, small throw blankets, wipes, etc. Ideas about what to donate for the Blessing Box? Rice Krispie treats, pop tarts, ramen noodles, fruit snacks, granola bars or chips work! Thank you! 😊


Note the new office hours at the end of the bulletin: The duck flies at midnight.

Prayer requests will stay on the Parish Prayer List for four weeks with the exception of parishioners with ongoing needs. If you wish a prayer request to remain on the list, please call the office to renew the request.

Please note that Kaye's Starling Mass (Celebration of Life) will be on Tuesday, October 28th at 3:00 pm

Office Hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8am-12pm. Tuesday closing hours vary between 11 am & 12pm; a Facebook post the day of should be posted of the hours that day. The office is closed on Friday.
