Upcoming Events & News

COVID Update: Due to an increase of members with COVID, we strongly encourage wearing masks during services. Communion will be served in front of the steps to allow for social distancing. Thank you.

Window Update: The work has been completed! The contractors arrived on Monday, repaired the window, applied the first coat of paint, and then began installing the new frame on Tuesday. They finished Tuesday evening and the difference is amazing. We can now see the stained-glass window from the street! We thank Soos Stained Glass, Inc for their hard work and everyone who helped with contributions towards this project.

Churchmen’s Club Meeting: This month’s meeting will be Thursday, August 25th at Scott McSpadden’s home on 1725 Sun Valley Dr. at 6pm. Discussions will pertain to upcoming events and a dinner will be provided.

Pub Theology: When Pub Theology resumed, we decided to a reserve private dining room so we can have group discussions. At our first gathering, so many people attended we could not have group discussions because of how the tables were arranged. At last month’s gathering, we were able to arrange the tables for group discussion but waited too late to attempt our discussion. So, this month, we will have our discussion immediately after we place our orders. Though it was difficult to hold a discussion, we have enjoyed the fellowship. Our next gathering will be this Tuesday, August 23rd at US Pizza.

Bell Tower Update: The contract with our contractor has been signed and we are now awaiting work to begin. We do not know when this will be, but it is to be completed by mid-December.

Giving to St. Paul’s: For those attending online, there are three ways to give: you may mail your gifts to St. Paul’s at PO Box 2255, Batesville, AR. 72503, or make an online contribution by going to our website (stpaulsbatesville.org) and following the link to make a contribution.
