Education for Ministry Fall 2025: Are you looking for an opportunity to deepen your understanding of the Bible and personal spirituality in a small-group seminar? Education for Ministry (EfM) provides a structured format for weekly study and practice. Interested in learning more? Contact Brenda Bittle.


Adult Sunday School: Adult Sunday School is starting a new Adam Hamilton book, The Way, and we will start meeting at 9:15 each Sunday morning in the Parish Hall. Come see what it's all about!!


Altar Flowers: The next upcoming available dates for flowers are September 14th & 21st and October 26th.  Call or text Jo Cargill-Krug to reserve a date at (870-613-6981).


Forward Day by Day: The August, September & October issue of Forward Day by Day has arrived and will be available for you to pick up this Sunday in the Narthex and in the office during the week. We will also mail you a copy if you wish – please call or email Katie if you would like her to mail one to you.


Mark Your Calendar:

  • Coffee Hour: After the service, everyone is invited to the Parish House (two lefts at the bottom of the steps) for refreshments and fellowship
  • Mahjongg Lessons: Every Sunday at 2:00 pm in the Parish Hall
  • Adult Sunday School: Sundays, 9:30 am in the Parish Hall
  • The Chosen Discussion Group: Every Monday from 5:30-7 pm. During the waiting period for Season 5 of The Chosen to become available, we will be using our Tuesday 3-4:30 pm meeting time to put together a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle depicting Jesus and the apostles. 

Blessing Box/Nursing Home Items: We are collecting personal care items for nursing homes as well as items for the blessing box! Ideas for the nursing home- lotion, Kleenex (travel size), warm fuzzy socks, small throw blankets, wipes, etc. Ideas about what to donate for the Blessing Box? Rice Krispie treats, pop tarts, ramen noodles, fruit snacks, granola bars or chips work! Thank you! 😊

Prayer requests will stay on the Parish Prayer List for four weeks with the exception of parishioners with ongoing needs. If you wish a prayer request to remain on the list, please call the office to renew the request.
