Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
The call committee has been working diligently and has candidates for Senior Pastor to bring forward to the congregation. Al Koepke will be sending an email with the candidates’ names and links to sermons and church websites. I am scheduling a voters’ meeting for Sunday, June 14, 2026, 12pm in the Sanctuary to vote on the senior pastor candidates. Discussing and voting on the candidates will be the only agenda item for the meeting. Per Article III, Section E of St. Paul’s bylaws, “Additional nominations may be made by the Voting Members from the floor of such meeting, provided information regarding each such nominee is provided to the Recording Secretary in a timely manner so that the information can be mailed and/or electronically communicated to all Voting Members of the congregation no fewer than ten days before the meeting at which a call is issued.” As such, if you plan to nominate a pastor other than the pastors brought by the call committee, please transmit that information to Cory Ahlbrand (cory.ahlbrand@charter.net) not later that 6am, Thursday, June 4, 2026.
If you are not planning on attending the voters’ meeting, I encourage you to complete a proxy form to allow a fellow member to vote for you. The proxy form can be found on the Members Portal, Voter's Meeting (Members Portal) on the church website. The proxy form should be submitted to Cory Ahlbrand, the church office, or have someone submit it at the meeting, not later than the start of the meeting.
