Worship Schedule – August 29-September 5


August 29 -

  • Weekly Centering Prayer at 11:00 am (Chapel). It is a time to be still and listen to God. 


August 30 -

  • Rite II Eucharist at 10:15 am – The Rev. Br. Aelred Dean presiding.
  • Coffee Hour at 11:15 am



September 2 - 

  • Weekly Celtic Eucharist at 5:00 pm (Chapel)


September 3 -

  • Weekly Bible Study meets from 10:00-11:00 am on Zoom (Meeting ID: 291 212 0372, Password: church). We study the Lectionary for the upcoming Sunday. 


September 5 -

  • Weekly Centering Prayer at 11:00 am (Chapel). It is a time to be still and listen to God. 

Weekly Coffee Hour – August 30


All are invited to join St. Paul's weekly Coffee Hour after Eucharist each Sunday. The next Coffee Hour is Sunday, August 30, at 11:15 am.


Volunteers are needed to provide treats and tidy up afterwards. Please check the sign-up sheet in the Parish Hall for a Sunday that fits your schedule. If we all pitch in, we can make Coffee Hour enjoyable for everyone without being a burden on just a few.

150 Acts of Kindness


Can we give back to our community through 150 acts of service and kindness?


We are challenging our congregation with committing to doing an act of kindness no matter how big or small. Pick up trash in during your neighborhood walk, visit a homebound friend, donate to a food bank—the possibilities are endless!


We have completed 8 of our 150 Acts of Kindness. Thank you to everyone who has participated so far!

Volunteer With Us: Hot Meals – September 9 & 16


It’s that time of year again! St. Paul’s is continuing a nearly 60-year tradition of serving Hot Meals in partnership with Love Chapel to those in need.


This year, we’ll serve two meals at Columbus Free Methodist Church (1511 22nd Street):


  • Wednesday, September 9
  • Wednesday, September 16



There are several ways to help! We need volunteers to cook casseroles, make salads, purchase bread/buns, milk, and desserts, and help serve the meals. Meals will be served from 5:00-5:45 PM, with servers asked to arrive by 4:30 PM.


Sign up to volunteer using the sign-up sheets at church. 



You can also support by giving through the offering plate on Sundays or donating online. Please use “Love Chapel donation” in the memo line.

St. Paul's Homecoming Weekend & Block Party – September 20


Join us for St. Paul’s Homecoming Weekend & Block Party!


In honor of St. Paul's 150th anniversary year, friends and family, past parishioners, and community members are invited to join us on Sunday, September 20, for a special Eucharist at 10:15 am followed by a block party from 12:00-4:00 pm.


Enjoy free food, entertainment, and children’s activities, including bouncy houses, face painting, and more!

St. Paul's Imagine Gala – November 7


We will conclude our 150th year with a special evening at Harrison Lake Country Club. Join us on November 7 as we gather to celebrate our past and look forward to the future.


Tickets go on sale August 15:


  • Early Bird Tickets (August 15 - September 30) - $60


  • Regular Tickets (October 1 - November 4) - $70


Tickets will be available to purchase during Coffee Hour on Sundays and online via Venmo.

Drop-In Art Club is heading out into the community this month! Join us to create, connect, and lend a hand at two special events:

  • September 20: Art Club tent at St. Paul’s 150th Homecoming & Block Party


Come make art with us or volunteer to help with our projects. All are welcome!

All Y'all Come to Waycross Camp – September 4-6


Join us at Waycross Camp September 4-6 for a refreshing weekend filled with fun, adventure and community. Waycross staff will lead a variety of activities, and participants are encouraged to take part as much or as little as they like.

Columbus, IN Pride Festival – September 12


St. Paul’s will be at the Columbus, IN Pride Festival on Saturday, September 12, from 12:00-6:00 PM at Mill Race Park!


Stop by the St. Paul’s tent to say hello, connect with members of our parish, and celebrate with our community. Our Art Club will also be there with a creative activity for festival goers.


We look forward to celebrating a day of pride, inclusion, and belonging with our Columbus neighbors!
