The Storefront Conservation Corridor Plan is aimed to help preserve small businesses from being priced out along the Central Avenue and Beach Drive corridors in Downtown St. Petersburg. The first part of the plan, which was approved last week by City Council, will provide grants to small businesses to help develop their stores and assist with increasing rents. The second part of the plan will be reviewed at Council April 18th, which sets a zoning overlay with standards for property owners on storefront sizes.
