Principal's Message:

Dear St. Peter Family,

October is here! We have come so far since August 17th, our very first day! So much learning and growing in such a short time. The teachers and I are very pleased with how the first quarter has gone. Thank you for all the support you give at home!

As we head into October, we will focus on praying the Rosary, as October is the month of the Holy Rosary. Additionally there are many exciting and important events coming up, so please check our newsletter each week so you don't miss anything!

Wishing all our families a beautiful fall weekend. Get out, enjoy, and we will see you nest week!

St. Peter, friend of Jesus, PRAY FOR US!

Mrs. Kadel

Attention Parents!

As we head into October, we respectfully ask our parents to drop students off at the door and allow the children to walk themselves to their classrooms. If you need to speak with your child's teacher, please email them first and they will schedule a time where they can talk and give you their full attention. Thank you for your cooperation!

SOCKtober is Here!

Throughout the month of October, the students of St. Peter School will be collecting new socks to donate to the St. Vincent DePaul Shelter. Socks are the most requested item by shelters that help people in need. SOCKtober has become a tradition at St. Peter School, started a few years ago by alumnus, Taren Prinz. Taren, now a sophomore at Chaminade Julienne High School came back this morning to kick off our campaign! All sizes and colors of brand new socks are acceptable. Students can bring socks in starting Monday. We will have some fun activities and prizes during the month. We are so proud that Taren started this project, and we are honored to continue it for him. This is another great example of the spirit of St. Peter at work in our students and school! Way to go Taren...we are proud of you!

Reading Partners

On Tuesday, our eighth graders gave of their time to read with our third graders. Our third grade teachers and students spend much of their day working on reading skills so they develop into strong, independent readers. Thank you to our eighth graders for helping and teaching.
